As both an interior designer and stylist, the choice of colors - whether it’s for a real environment or a staged image - is a major and very important part of my job.
If there’s one part of my job that I particularly enjoy, it’s the moment of color coordination. The interaction of colors, their expression, and the significant impact color has on an environment. For the inspiration behind my color choices for Familjetapeter, I drew from my own home. I often hear that I have a clear color theme throughout my home, and this is very important to me. It’s something I focus on - both in private interior designs and larger projects like offices or similar settings.
The color choices in my home are based on a patterned wallpaper in our hallway. All the colors from the wallpaper have been applied in each room in one way or another. Each color is carefully selected and, in my opinion, completely perfect, both as a soloist and in harmony.
